The author will explore the place and role of the act of sexual violence in the adolescent process. Continuing the work of A. Ciavaldini, who considers the act to be “unfinished affect”, he will discuss the way that sexual violence contributes to non-symbolic linking, to use R. Roussillon’s term. The issue of the “respondent figure”, as defined by R. Kaes, emerges in the psychotherapeutic treatment, where experiences of violence and abandonment in childhood leave traces of non-happening in the affect.
