»Facing this confusing period of the passage childhood to adulthood, faced with the painful truth of « non-existence « and the inability to overstep the child’s body and child’s psyche, the teenager may act this out by self-aggression, in which suicide is paradoxically the chief existential claim. We propose to investigate this suicidal position and the repercussions of a suicidal act upon adults using an example of intervention with both students and staff of a school subsequent to the suicide of two students.»
